The Beginning of My Journey as a Nail Technician in Ireland

The time has come to take the next step in my professional journey as a Nail Technician in Ireland. After several months of study and professional training, I realized that the College environment was no longer sufficient to fully develop and refine the different Nail Technology techniques I had learned.

During the Nail Technician and Salon Administration course, and after many hours of practice with fellow students, one truth became very clear: in this profession, practice is everything. Technical excellence is built through consistency, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to continuous improvement.

The Importance of Practice in Nail Technology

Being a professional Nail Technician goes far beyond applying techniques. It requires precision, technical knowledge, hygiene, safety, and an ongoing dedication to growth. For this reason, after careful consideration, my family and I made an important decision: to create a dedicated space exclusively for practice and professional development.

We transformed a small corner of our living room into my first practice studio as a Nail Technician in Ireland. Every detail was intentionally planned — from accurately measuring the space to selecting the right furniture to ensure comfort, ergonomics, and professionalism.

A Space That Represents a New Professional Chapter

This practice space is not just a physical location; it is the tangible representation of the beginning of my new professional life in the beauty industry.

Having the unconditional support of my husband and feeling the excitement of my 4-year-old daughter is one of my greatest motivations. Starting a new career at 40, in a new country, in a new language, and with a limited network is undoubtedly a challenge — but it is also an opportunity for personal and professional growth.
